Will you come?

Join us 6pm Wednesday 12 September for Politics in the Pub with John Hewson.

John Hewson is a professor at the Australian National University's Crawford School of Public Policy and a former leader of the Liberal Party.

Throughout various careers in academia, business, politics, and the media, John Hewson has been a climate advocate since the early 90s. Hewson has campaigned for the serious consideration of the science, for recognition of the need for faster and more decisive action on emissions reductions, and developed a range of new businesses (including renewables, garbage recycling, energy efficient light bulbs, bio-fuels and bio-energy), demonstrating the 'business case' for an effective transition to a low-carbon society.
